Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company in Texas is seeking a dependable sanitation and maintenance associate to keep our production areas clean and safe. You will perform cleaning and sanitizing on machinery, conduct preventive maintenance, and operate forklifts as needed, while following company SOPs and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions and write basic notes.
• English fluency is required to communicate clearly.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and follow SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that machinery, equipment, floors, walls, and ceilings are properly cleaned and sanitized according to schedule.
• Conduct necessary preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment according to schedule.
• Conduct final inspection of the department to ensure that it is clean and ready for production according to company S.S.O.P.'s.
• May operate forklifts, and hand lifts to move product from one area to another.
• Work safely under all conditions and procedures.
• Report work related injuries and illnesses to supervisor.
• Report any process or equipment problems to supervisor.
• Follow policies, rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Perform all duties accurately and efficiently.
