Job summary

Bunzl North America in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Forklift Operator to support receiving, picking, packing, and shipping of warehouse stock. The 1st shift runs 6:00am–3:30pm, with a pay rate of $17.00/hr and weekly pay. Responsibilities include safe forklift operation, order fulfillment, and maintaining a clean work area.

Candidates should demonstrate PIV proficiency, be able to lift 40–50 lbs, and be flexible for overtime. OSHA certifications or the ability to obtain them are required.

Qualifications

• Proven proficiency operating powered industrial vehicles (PIV).
• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs. repeatedly.
• OSHA certifications upon hire or ability to obtain.
• OT may be required based on business needs.
• Must understand written English.

Responsibilities

• Select customer orders from shelves and load onto trailers.
• Operate forklift safely and responsibly.
• Retrieve and stack product using appropriate equipment.
• Use on-board computer and RF system to process orders.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Assist other warehouse staff as needed.
