Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Material Handler in Frankfort, Indiana. This role involves forklift operation and warehouse duties in a clean, safe facility, with weekly pay and access to medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k). Training is provided and PTO accrues from month one, with up to 80 hours in the first year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Able to work within a diverse work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Perform duties within contract performance guidelines.
• Accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle daily paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
