Job summary

Crescent Crown Distributing, LLC is seeking a Warehouse/ forklift operator for the 3rd shift in Baton Rouge, LA. You will perform loading, receiving, replenishment, and order pulling, using a forklift and RF scanner to support fast-paced operations.

Responsibilities include safe operation of equipment, pre-trip inspections, and maintaining strong communication with supervisors while upholding Crescent Crown’s safety policies.

Qualifications

• Extended hours may be needed per service demands.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack safely and efficiently.
• Lift/carry at least 50 lbs; push/pull up to 240 lbs as needed.
• Regular bending, reaching, and walking in a warehouse.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience operating forklift/pallet jack in warehouse required.
• 1+ year of warehouse experience desired.
• Experience in food/beverage or similar fast-paced picking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support warehouse functions on 3rd shift, including selection, loading, receiving, replenishment, and order pulling.
• Operate forklift or electric pallet jack safely; conduct pre-trip inspections.
• Use RF scanner/tablet for transactions and inventory updates.
• Maintain interdepartmental communication and align with Crescent Crown Vision.
• Stock pallets and pull orders efficiently while maintaining safety.

Support warehouse functions of PM shift in a safe, accurate, efficient and effective manner, including but not limited to: selection, loading, receiving, replenishment, pulling orders and returns. Responsible for the safe and effective operation and pre-trip inspection of forklifts and pallet jacks, as well as adherence to all Safety policies and procedures. Develop and maintain solid interdepartmental relationships, including effective and consistent communication. Continually support and embrace the Crescent Crown Vision. This position operates a forklift or electric pallet jack pulling and stocking pallets. Requires fast-paced operation of a forklift or pallet jack, ability to use a tablet or rf scanner and attention to detail. during 3rd shift. . Prior food/beverage, or other similar fast-paced order picking experience is desired.

• Must be able to operate a forklift and pallet jack in a safe and efficient manner
• Ability to regularly lift/carry at least 50 lbs. and occasionally push/pull over 240 lbs.;
• Able to regularly bend, reach, stoop, and walk throughout warehouse;;
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred;
• Experience in the operation of a forklift or electric pallet jack in a warehouse environment required
• One (1) year of previous warehouse experience desired;
• Prior food/beverage, or other similar fast-paced order picking experience is desired;
