Job summary

Lignetics, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in Kentucky. You will operate gasoline, propane, or electric forklifts to move pallets and materials, ensuring safety and accuracy during loading and transport.

Responsibilities include pre-shift safety checks, maintaining clean work areas, and supporting production with material handling. This full-time role requires stamina and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior forklift and production line experience preferred.
• Good eye, hand and foot coordination.
• Must be able to pass the company forklift training.
• Ability to concentrate for extended periods and multi-task.
• Will be lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for 7 hours per day.
• Required to read and interpret scales.
• Requires mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Requires the ability to do simple math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift in warehouse and production areas.
• Pre-shift checks: propane, fluids, and safety.
• Grease fittings as needed.
• Stack raw materials neatly.
• Sweep warehouse and empty bins.
• Ensure packing slips and weight tickets are correct.
• Attach load seals and banding before load leaves dock.
• Stack proved plywood rack properly.
• Record re-stacks and bag movements.
• Wear seat belts and drive at safe speeds.
• Dispose of junk pallets appropriately.
• Clean warehouse at end of shift.
• Assist other production areas as needed.
• Move and wrap completed products.
• Assist Shift Leads with pellet mills operations.
• All other duties as assigned.
