Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Columbia, South Carolina is hiring Stand-Up Forklift Operators for a Second Shift (6:00 pm–6:00 am). Weekly pay, medical/dental/vision and 401(k) benefits are offered. Schedule is 2 days on, 2 days off, then 3 on, with 36/48 hours in a rotating cycle and potential weekend premiums.

Positions require forklift experience, a valid forklift license, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Training provided, PTO after 1 month, and company discounts apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Operate within contract performance measurement guidelines.
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Provide technical/maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Forklift Operator / Driver Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $19.66 per hour
• Shift Pay: $1.00 per hour
• Additional Pay: $5.00 per hour extra, when working a Saturday or Sunday
• Schedule: Second Shift 6:00 pm - 6:00 am
• 2 days on, 2 days off, and 3 days on. 36 hours one week and 48 the next, in continuous cycle - every other weekend will be a 3 day weekend off.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified

• Performs other duties as assigned.
