Job summary

Express Employment Professionals in York/Scarborough/Portland, ME is seeking Forklift Operator and General Labor positions. Shifts include 1st and 2nd, with hourly pay of $20.00–$25.00 and overtime available.

Responsibilities include storage, shipping, receiving, cycle counting and using ERP/RF tech to support accurate inventory control. Candidates must be capable of operating a forklift, maintaining warehouse organization, and meeting customer service standards for order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of inventory control systems and the ability to utilize for daily activities.
• Experienced in Forklift truck operation.
• Knowledge of Warehousing processes and how these processes can be integrated into existing company practices and requirements.
• Ability to analyze and reconcile inventory variances.
• Ability to maintain an accurate and well-organized warehouse and receiving/shipping dock.

Responsibilities

• Store, ship, receive, cycle count and maintain location accuracy for all products in frozen or dry goods areas.
• Operate ERP and RF technology; move, locate, relocate, stack, kit and count products using forklift.
• Ensure safe, efficient forklift operation and pass certification training as needed.
• Unload inbound shipments and place products in storage locations or production areas.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, loading exact quantities for orders.
• Fulfill work orders from the manufacturing schedule via RF updates to/from work orders.
• Maintain tight inventory control, check freight for accuracy and damage, and rotate stock by FIFO.
