Job summary

Kamco is seeking Warehouse Associates to support receiving and movement of materials within the warehouse. The role focuses on serving customers, organizing stock, loading outbound materials, and maintaining an orderly, safe workspace.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts, handling pallets, and ensuring accuracy of loads while adhering to OSHA standards and company policies. A high school diploma or GED is required, with building supply warehouse experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in building supply warehouse strongly preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to work 40-50 hours per week.
• Must be able to operate forklift.

Responsibilities

• Provide service to customers entering the warehouse.
• Receive, organize, and move incoming materials and load outgoing materials.
• Allocate and move material to its correct place and ensure an orderly warehouse.
• Maintain packing specifications, and make suitable skids/pallets, etc.
• Operate forklift and other company vehicles and equipment as trained and instructed.
• Attend and participate in all required company training programs.
• Perform minor building maintenance when necessary.
• Participate in weekly, monthly and/or annual physical inventories.
• Maintain the appearance of the warehouse in a safe and orderly manner.
• Conform to all company policies and procedures, and OSHA standards.
• Maintain a high level of customer focus in producing quality products and services.
• Maintain a full understanding of all products by identification, weight, and size.
• Must be able to operate a forklift.
• Ability to lift up to 100lbs.
• Must be able to work 40 to 50 hours per week..
• Verify truck loads.
• Able to work outdoors - varying shifts.
• Maintain a basic knowledge of trucks, forklifts, and other equipment to determine necessary repairs.
• High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent work experience and/or training.
• Building supply warehouse experience strongly preferred.
