Position Description

Ryder is immediately hiring Permanent Full-Time Warehouse Stand-Up Forklift Operators in Dekalb, Illinois.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly:

1. Hourly Pay: $20.30 per hour
2. Overtime Pay: $30.45 per hour
3. Additional Pay: $2.50 per hour for E Shift

Schedules:

1. A Shift: Sunday - Tuesday 5:15 AM - 4:45 PM and Wednesday 5:15 AM - 11:15 AM
2. E Shift: Wednesdays from 11:15 PM to 5:15 AM & Thursday through Saturday from 5:15 PM to 4:45 AM

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One or more years of related warehouse or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Ability to build professional relationships at all organizational levels
• Dependable, punctual, and with a good attendance record
• Ability to perform work independently with high accuracy under pressure
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Work safely according to health and safety standards
• Flexible schedule availability for various shifts
• Attention to detail and follow-up skills

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting
• Ensure accuracy in picking, packing, auditing, staging, and loading/unloading trucks
• Handle warehouse paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during production hours
• Perform other duties as assigned
