Job summary

GEODIS is seeking a Warehouse Operator to efficiently move and prepare goods for shipment at our facility, ensuring accuracy and safety in all tasks. The role involves reading orders, selecting items, and staging shipments with standard equipment.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading pallets, operating a forklift, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. High school diploma or GED and forklift experience are required, with potential bonuses and growth opportunities within GEODIS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience operating a forklift is required.
• Ability to follow safety regulations while operating equipment.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Read production schedules, orders, and shipping documents to determine items to move and prepare for shipment.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring exact quantity and type.
• Sort and place materials on racks/bins per predetermined sequence.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and convey orders to packing/shipping departments.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products using forklift or other equipment.
