Job summary

Suddath Company is seeking a Warehouse Associate to safely operate forklift and other material handling equipment, moving and stacking merchandise across shipping, receiving and inventory cycles. You will contribute to accurate loading, unloading and staging of goods while maintaining inventory controls in a climate-controlled warehouse.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of MHE experience, can lift 50 pounds, and work Mon-Fri in a day shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months verifiable work experience operating material handling equipment within the last 36 months.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely following OSHA standards and prescribed methods.
• Load, unload, move, stack and stage products using MHE including forklift and related devices.
• Unload inbound shipments and move product to storage locations.
• Efficiently stack and store merchandise in the appropriate areas.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment and ensure loading accuracy.
• Keep records and reports for inventory control and security measures.
• May assist in physical inventories when needed.
