Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Stand-Up Forklift Operator in Minster, Ohio. The role features weekly pay, competitive benefits, and a schedule with 44–55 hours per week, including 4:30am-4:00pm or 5:30am-5:00pm shifts.

You will operate stand-up forklifts in a yogurt distribution environment and support a clean, safe, efficient warehouse. The position offers a sign-on bonus of $1,000 paid in installments, overtime pay at $34.50/hr, and potential to earn up to $10/hr in productivity incentives,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Maintain accuracy in picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Forklift Operator / Material Handler Positions Pay Weekly

• Base pay: $23.00 per hour
• .50 increase after 6 mo and 1 year
• Overtime Pay: $34.50 per hour
• Additional Pay:
• Productivity Incentives: Eligible to earn up to an extra $10/hr
• Monthly attendance bonuses
• Sign-on bonus:
• $1,000 bonus paid in four installments at 30, 60, 90, 180 days

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
