Ryder in Elwood, IL is hiring a Material Handler / Warehouse Forklift Operator. Earn $20.00 per hour with overtime pay and weekly pay in a clean, safe facility that supports your growth.

You will perform loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and forklift operation; require a valid forklift license and 1+ year warehouse experience; benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO from day one, and paid training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Able to work flexible schedule on various shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Work within contract performance measurement guidelines.
• Responsible for accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical/maintenance support for automated packing systems during production.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Forklift Operator Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $20.00 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $30.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday – Friday occasional Saturdays (seasonal) from 7:00am to 3:30pm OT hours will be worked either an hour before shift start or an hour after shift end

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
