Job summary

LINEAGE LOGISTICS HOLDINGS, LLC in University Park, Texas seeks a 2nd shift forklift operator to join our warehouse team. You will operate stand-up forklifts, unload and load goods, and maintain safety while efficiently moving products in cold and dry storage areas.

Starting pay is $21 per hour with a $1.65 shift differential; pay ranges up to $28.65 per hour. This role emphasizes accuracy, inventory control, and collaboration with truck drivers to ensure safe, compliant material handling daily.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to understand instructions in English as defined by Lineage Logistics.
• Ability to work in cold and hot storage environments.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.
• Flexible work schedule including weekends if needed.
• Comfortable with variable noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Position forks, lifting platform, or other devices under, over, or around loaded pallets and transports, loads and unloads to designated areas.
• List materials and record weight, counts, and condition of items via an RF system.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet.
• Lead safety inspections on truck chalking and glad-hand process.
• Communicate with semi-truck drivers to ensure safety precautions.
• Monitor battery charge, maintain and clean batteries, and charge equipment properly.
• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment.

2nd shift

Monday-Friday 4pm-12:30pm

Starting pay: $21/hr. plus $1.65 shift differential

Operate a stand-up forklift and other electric-powered industrial trucks equipped with lifting devices to safely move, store, load, and unload products, equipment, and materials throughout the warehouse. Ensure the accurate handling of materials on and off pallets, skids, and other lifting devices while adhering to all regulatory requirements and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. Maintain productivity, inventory accuracy, and a safe working environment through proper equipment operation and material handling practices.

What you’ll do

• Position forks, lifting platform, or other lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials, transports, load and unload to a designated area
• List materials and record weight, counts, and condition of frozen food items via a Radio Frequency (RF) system
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet
• Lead safety inspections on truck chalking and glad-hand process
• Communicate with semi-truck drivers to ensure safety precautions
• Monitor battery charge, maintain, and clean batteries, and leave material handling equipment at the proper charging station
• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment

What you’ll bring

• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud

Pay Range:$16.97 - $28.65
