Job summary

Lineage is seeking a forklift operator for the second shift in the United States. You will operate a stand-up forklift and other electric-powered trucks to move, store, load, and unload products while adhering to safety standards and company procedures.

The role emphasizes accuracy, inventory control, and safe material handling in dynamic warehouse environments, with emphasis on training and teamwork to support customer needs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs (18 kg).
• Ability to work in temperatures ranging from -20F/-25C to 100F/37C.
• Experience operating stand-up forklifts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Position forks, lifting platform, or other lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials, transports, load and unload to a designated area
• List materials and record weight, counts, and condition of frozen food items via a Radio Frequency (RF) system
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet
• Lead safety inspections on truck chalking and glad-hand process
• Communicate with semi-truck drivers to ensure safety precautions
• Monitor battery charge, maintain, and clean batteries, and leave material handling equipment at the proper charging station
• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment

Starting pay: $21/hr. plus $1.65 shift differential

Operate a stand-up forklift and other electric-powered industrial trucks equipped with lifting devices to safely move, store, load, and unload products, equipment, and materials throughout the warehouse. Ensure the accurate handling of materials on and off pallets, skids, and other lifting devices while adhering to all regulatory requirements and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. Maintain productivity, inventory accuracy, and a safe working environment through proper equipment operation and material handling practices.

2nd shift

Monday-Friday 4pm-12:30pm

Starting pay: $21/hr. plus $1.65 shift differential

What You’ll Bring

• Basic math skills
• Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud

Pay Range:$16.97 - $28.65
