Job summary

Labor Finders in Georgia is seeking a Forklift Operator to load, unload, and move products using forklifts and other power equipment. You will verify counts, prepare shipments, and maintain accurate inventory records while complying with OSHA and MSDS standards.

Preferred candidates hold a forklift certificate and a high school diploma, plus six months of warehouse and forklift operation experience. This is a full-time on-site position with Labor Finders.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator certificate or completion of forklift training within 30 days.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred).
• Six months warehouse experience (preferred).
• Six months forklift operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products with forklifts or other power equipment.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment with exact counts.
• Record inventory to ensure accuracy.
• Follow OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load count, stability, and damage; report variances.
• Maintain clean and orderly facility and equipment.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Complete daily equipment inspections.

Forklift Operator

Responsible for operating powered equipment for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting product. Responsible for checking all inbound and outbound products. Ensures products are free of damage and product code dates are properly recorded and products match customer requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using various types of forklifts or other power equipment.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of products is loaded.
• Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy.
• Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy; check the load count, stability, and product damage, report variances as necessary.
• Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Complete daily inspection of equipment.

Required Education and Experience:

• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• Six months warehouse experience, preferred
• Six months forklift operation experience
