Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Spring Hill, Tennessee is hiring temporary sit-down forklift operators to join our warehouse team. Earn weekly pay and gain hands-on experience in a clean, well-run facility handling automotive parts and supplies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid forklift operator's license certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as a team member.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Flexible schedule on various shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse duties including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation.
• Maintain accuracy in totes, packing, and cycle counts.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse setting (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Support maintenance for automated packing systems during core production shifts.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Forklift Operator / Driver Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $20.33 per hour
• Overtime Pay $30.50 per hour
• Additional Pay: $1.25 per hour when assigned to second shift
• Schedule: 2nd Shift Monday - Friday 4:00 pm - 12:30 am

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to be a team player and able to work within a diverse work environment

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
