Job summary

The Coca-Cola Company in the United States is seeking a Warehouse Operator to support product movement in our distribution centers. You will pick, pack, and ship orders, handle goods, and enter data into a system to ensure accurate inventory and timely deliveries.

This role requires physical work, forklift operation, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Overtime may be required; prior forklift experience is essential; detailed procedures and GMP guidelines govern daily tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacity.
• Forklift operator experience (Stand-up & Sit-Down).
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Flexibility to work overtime as required.
• Ability to move materials weighing up to 50 lbs for 10 feet or more.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and ship customer orders in a timely manner.
• Handle, record and dispatch goods in a store or warehouse and verify against invoices.
• Pick orders and enter data into a database or system.
• Operate forklift to move freight into and out of the warehouse.
• Load and unload freight and assist in storage areas for packaging materials.
• Assist with inventory/shipping and plant quality assurance procedures.
• Perform other duties under GMP, shipping, receiving, or maintenance as required.
• This is a very physical and labor-intensive job.

Job Description Summary

Our Warehouse Operators are at the forefront of our business, working directly with our products in the manufacturing facilities. You’ll be focused on maintaining product movement in and out of the distribution center by performing various duties.

Position-Related Duties and Key Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced, physical, labor-intensive environment to pick, pack and ship customer orders in a timely manner.
• Follow established procedures and guidelines to handle, record and dispatch goods in a store or warehouse, which includes receiving incoming goods, checks for damage and discrepancies between goods and invoices.
• Pick orders, packs, and dispatches outgoing goods according to written or verbal orders and enter data into a database or other computerized system. t
• Operates forklift to move freight into and out of the warehouse.
• Load and unloads freight and assist in the control of storage areas for packaging materials, ingredients, and finished product and may schedule freight movements in cooperation with immediate team leaders and/or production team leaders.
• Assist with Inventory/Shipping and Plant Quality Assurance procedures.
• Perform other duties related to Good Manufacturing Practices, shipping, receiving, minor maintenance, or other duties as required by the supervisor.

Education and Qualifications

• High school, General Education
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacity
• Must possess Stand-up & Sit-Down forklift operator experience
• The ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
• Must offer flexibility to work schedules as determined by business need, including overtime as required.
• Possess ability to move materials weighing up to 50 lbs. 10 feet or more

Pay Range: United States of America: $46,716 - $66,747
