Job summary

InterChange Group, Inc. is seeking forklift-enabled warehouse staff at Harrisonburg, VA. The role includes day and night shifts, rotating weekends, and duties to load/unload, check freight, and direct items within the warehouse.

Starting wages range from $19.15 to $22.90 per hour, with fulltime hours and a benefits package. Qualified candidates may have RFID and Warehouse Management System familiarity, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote safe work environment through personal actions.
• Load and unload trucks and containers using equipment provided in safe and efficient manner.
• Check and count freight for accuracy and/or damage. Take inventory as needed.
• Direct product to correct area in warehouse.
• Clear work area of loose wood and plastic, sweep area as needed.
• Report faulty equipment, damage to racks, and other safety hazards to supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned

About the role

Warehouse Location: Harrisonburg, VA

Compensation: $19.15 to $22.90 / hour

12 Hrs. Day Shift - 5:00 am - 5:00 pm *** Rotating Shift, Work Every other Weekend ***

12 Hrs. Night Shift - 5:00 pm - 5:00 am *** Rotating Shift, Work Every other Weekend ***

8 Hrs. Day Shift - Monday to Friday - 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

8 Hrs. Night Shift - Monday to Friday - 5:00 pm to 1:30 am

What you'll do

Qualifications

• Prefer 1 year of Forklift experience (specific standup or sit down) in a warehouse or manufacturing environment but not mandatory . Training will be provided.
• Familiarity with RFID
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Possession of a valid state driver’s license preferred
