Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Stand Up Forklift Operator in Morris, Illinois — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about.

We provide a safe, organized facility environment for food products, with stand up forklift equipment and a range of warehouse responsibilities including loading, picking, packing, shipping and cycle counting. Training is paid; benefits start early and PTO accrues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Responsible for accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Maintain day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hour.

Warehouse Forklift Operator Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $21.75 per hour
• Additional Pay: $2.00 added when assigned to N1 shift
• Schedule: Sunday – Wednesday; 5:00PM – 3:30AM

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
