Job summary

Transmaritime, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Distribution Associate in the United States (Texas, Laredo) to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of goods. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against orders and packing lists.
  • Organize and store products to optimize space and accessibility.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment to customers or distribution centers.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS and report discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Assist with regular inventory counts to support accuracy.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets.

The Warehouse Distribution Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods within a warehouse environment. The associate will collaborate closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals and deadlines. Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Basic math and reading skills to accurately process orders and inventory data.
  • Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and procedures.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Forklift operation experience of 2+ years
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • Forklift operator certification or experience operating warehouse equipment.
  • Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
