Job summary

Clean Harbors in Caseyville, IL is seeking a Forklift Operator to load, unload, and move barrels and materials throughout the facility. The role pays $21-$23 per hour DOE and runs on a Monday–Friday schedule with a 06:00 AM to 03:00 PM shift.

You will use RF scanners, update inventories in Excel/WIN/IBOB/WMS, and maintain safe, organized work areas; forklift certification is preferred and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: 1+ years in a similar forklift or industrial warehouse environment.
• Certifications: Valid driver's license required; forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift throughout the facility to load, unload, and move barrels, freight, and materials.
• Inspect barrels, freight, and materials for damage during loading and unloading.
• Use an RF scanner to scan and track materials.
• Enter and update inventory and shipment information in Excel, WIN, IBOB and WMS.
• Safely load and unload trailers and trucks.
• Move and stage materials in the correct storage areas.
• Follow all safety procedures when handling materials

Clean Harbors is currently looking for a Forklift Operator to join their team, in Caseyville, IL.

Pay rate: $21 to $23/Hr (DOE)

Schedule: Monday - Friday (Ability to work on Weekends if needed)

Available shift: 06:00 AM to 03:00 PM (overtime is not guaranteed but is possible based on volumes)

Physical Requirements

• Medium work: frequent lifting/carrying of up to 25 lbs., occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent sitting, walking, bending, climbing, and use of hands and feet for vehicle operation

Driving Requirements

• Operate cars, small and large trucks with both automatic and manual transmissions within the yard
• Support movement of vehicles required for real-time dock scheduling
• Work Environment
• Less than 10% travel
• No supervisory responsibilities
• Position requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions
