Job summary

DixiePly Atlanta is seeking a Warehouse Associate to receive, store, and move building materials in our Duluth, GA location. The role involves loading trucks, unloading railcars, and carefully following customer orders and bills of lading.

You will count items, perform basic arithmetic, and maintain an orderly warehouse while ensuring safe forklift operation and strong customer relations. Some overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Reads customer orders, shipping orders, purchase orders, and bills of lading to determine items to move or distribute.
• Counts items and performs simple arithmetic for inventory and loading.
• Physically moves material by hand or forklift and maintains safety.
• Keeps warehouse clean and orderly, supporting accurate order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, load, and move building materials in the warehouse and onto trucks.
• Unload incoming materials from railcars or trucks and load outgoing deliveries.
• Identify products and ensure correct handling according to written documents.
• Maintain good relationships with customers who pick up material at the warehouse.
