Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Dallas, TX is seeking a Material Handler to join our warehouse team. This role involves operating stand-up reach forklifts to move paper products, with a schedule that includes Thursday–Saturday and alternating Wednesdays, from 4:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to work within a diverse work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Responsible for accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during production hours.
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Hourly Pay $23.00 per hour


• Additional Pay: $1.50 per hour


• Schedule: Thursday-Saturday + every other Wednesday 4:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred


• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
