Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company is seeking a Warehouse forklift position to perform duties across temperature zones and support order selection, put-away, and other tasks as needed.

Experience with forklift and related equipment is required; you will work in extreme temperatures and handle 30–60 lb regularly with attention to detail and safety as top priorities.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow safety rules and guidelines.
• Knowledge of the food industry helpful.
• Able to work in extreme temperatures (cold or hot).
• Basic reading and spelling skills for paperwork.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Replenishment of pick locations in assigned area using KWCS system and management, using forklift, cherry picker, pallet jack, mid-rider.
• Move received product using forklift, cherry picker, pallet jack, mid-rider to the assigned location.
• Work in all warehouse temperature zones ranging from 10 degrees below zero to unregulated zones over 100 degrees.
• Operate warehouse equipment as assigned: cherry picker, forklift, mid-rider and pallet jack.
• Maintain a clean, safe, orderly area by clearing debris, damaged cases and shrink wrap from aisles.

The purpose of the Warehouse forklift position is to perform warehouse duties in all temp zones such as replenishing selection slots and moving product into the assigned areas as needed. The position will also be required to support all areas of warehouse operations including order selection, product put-away and any other task deemed necessary by warehouse management

• Replenishment of pick locations in assigned area using information from KWCS system and management, using forklift, cherry picker, pallet jack, mid-rider.
• Move received product using forklift, cherry picker, pallet jack, mid-rider to the assigned location within the warehouse.
• May Work in all warehouse temperature zones ranging from 10 degrees below zero to unregulated zones which can exceed 100 degrees in the summer.
• Operates warehouse equipment as assigned and/or needed – cherry picker, fork, mid-rider and pallet jack.
• Lifting 30-60 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally.
• Knowledge of products and warehouse locations is essential
• Knowledge of KWCS system preferred
• Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, safe, orderly area by clearing debris, damaged cases and shrink wrap from the assigned aisles
