Essential Functions
- Operate a lift truck by driving backwards and twisting to look in the direction of travel on a continual basis.
- Operate a lift truck all shift.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment, such as cleaning or recharging batteries, and refer defects or repairs to supervisor/maintenance.
- Move controls to drive battery-powered lift trucks and transport materials between loading, unloading, processing, and storage areas.
- Use lifting devices to load, unload, transport, and stack material.
- Position lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, and boxes, and secure material for transport.
- Manually load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms, or lifting devices.
- Ensure reliable attendance at scheduled shifts.
- Perform duties following safety and security standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities
- Unloading products from inbound carriers, verifying accuracy, inspecting condition, and placing product in proper storage.
- Receiving and reading preload orders, filling orders, inspecting, and loading trucks according to guidelines.
- Inspect trailers, count units, arrange products within trailers, and secure loads for travel.

Skills & Abilities
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- 1-2 years related experience.
- Basic scanner technology skills.
- Valid State Driver’s License; Forklift Certification preferred.
