Ryder is seeking a permanent full-time Warehouse Forklift Operator for the Second Shift (Mon-Fri, 3:30PM-12:00AM) at North Aurora, IL. Operate stand-up and high-reach forklifts, perform loading, picking, packing, shipping, and cycle counting to support daily operations.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid forklift license, 1+ year warehouse experience, strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work independently or in a team with a safety‑minded

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid forklift operator license required if available.
• 1+ year warehouse or powered industrial truck experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Operate within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Accurately pick, pack, audit, stage products, and load/unload trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing system during core shift hour of production.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Ryder is hiring a Permanent Full‑Time Warehouse Forklift Operator for the Second Shift (Monday‑Friday, 3:30PM‑12:00AM) at North Aurora, IL.

Pay & Schedule

• Hourly pay: $19.00
• Overtime pay: $28.50
• Shift pay: $0.75 per hour
• Schedule: Second Shift Monday‑Friday 3:30PM‑12:00AM

Products & Equipment

Products handled: Food products and general materials.
Equipment: Stand‑up forklift and high‑reach forklift.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
• One year or more related warehouse or powered industrial truck experience, preferred
• Valid forklift operator license
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
