Job summary

Ryder is seeking a permanent full-time Warehouse Forklift Operator for the Second Shift (Mon-Fri, 3:30PM-12:00AM) at North Aurora, IL. Operate stand-up and high-reach forklifts, perform loading, picking, packing, shipping, and cycle counting to support daily operations.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid forklift license, 1+ year warehouse experience, strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work independently or in a team with a safety‑minded

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Valid forklift operator license required if available.
1+ year warehouse or powered industrial truck experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
Operate within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
Accurately pick, pack, audit, stage products, and load/unload trucks.
Handle day-to-day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing system during core shift hour of production.
Perform other duties as assigned.
