Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company in Lynchburg, VA is seeking a Branch Warehouser to support warehouse operations at Store #705475. This full-time role involves receiving and stocking inventory, processing orders, and assisting in customer service at a Sherwin-Williams floorcovering branch.

Responsibilities include picking/packing orders, loading/unloading goods, maintaining inventory, and operating floorcovering cutting equipment as needed. A safety-conscious, team-oriented candidate is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ year experience with material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, etc.)
• Delivery, retail, or customer service experience preferred
• Experience selling floorcovering products is a plus
• Experience operating floorcovering cutting equipment preferred
• Able to read, write, and communicate in more than one language including Spanish

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
• Receive and process warehouse stock (pick, unload, label, store)
• Perform inventory controls and maintain quality standards
• Load and unload products from deliveries
• Rotate stock and manage stockroom organization
• Operate warehouse equipment and floorcovering cutting equipment
• Support store sales and serve wholesale customers
• Keep a clean, safe work environment and ensure space optimization
• Complete diary logs into inventory and report discrepancies
