Qualifications

• Experience and training in trouble shooting, preventive maintenance and repair in material handling equipment, conveyors, and general building and facilities.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is preferred but not required.
• Mechanics must provide and use their own basic tools and a locking toolbox; larger tools provided by company.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair on material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyors) and building infrastructure (HVAC, lighting, plumbing, electrical).
• Inspect equipment and infrastructure regularly and troubleshoot to prevent downtime; document work orders and coordinate with team.
• Operate power tools and maintain safety around hazardous materials and high-voltage equipment.
