Job summary

RJ Schinner Co., Inc. is seeking a Warehouse & Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team in Menomonee Falls, WI. You will perform routine building and equipment maintenance and cleaning to support a safe, efficient warehouse operation.

Key duties include forklift movement, floor scrubbing, debris removal, and ensuring tools and resources are available. We value attention to detail, ability to work with minimal supervision, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Warehouse, forklift, and cleaning experience a plus.
• Ability to proficiently operate a variety of powered industrial trucks, and complete in-house forklift & safety program.
• High degree of attention to detail.
• Experience using hand tools.
• Able to complete work with minimal amount of supervision.

Responsibilities

• Utilize a forklift to move product, pallets and equipment as needed.
• Respond quickly to cleaning situations that increase associate risk for slips, trips, or falls.
• Build rapport with team and promote cleanliness and organizational goals.
• Ensure facility has adequate tools and resources available for associates.
• Address tipped pallets in warehouse racking.
• Ensure aisles are kept clean of debris and obstacles that hinder equipment traffic.
• Operate floor scrubbing machine.
• Address spilled product situations.
• Aid in collecting and/or repairing damaged product.
• Ensure excess shrink wrap is cut from pallets and product is stored neatly.
• Routinely sweep, mop, dust, sanitize, and empty trash cans in various work areas.
• Manage area dedicated to storing damaged pallets.
• Ensure warehouse equipment is kept in good condition.
• Perform grounds maintenance tasks such as landscaping, cleaning debris from exterior dock areas, washing and drying windows, and snow blowing and salting.
