Job summary

Custom Glass Atlanta, part of Installed Building Products, is seeking an entry-level installer. Training provided; no experience required. The role involves cutting materials, pre-drilling holes, and mounting shelves, plus handling bath and door hardware at individual houses.

Applicants must lift 50+ lbs, stand long periods, and use hand and power tools. A valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug screen are required. Opportunities for growth exist within the IBP family.

Responsibilities

• Follow the shelving template to cut material, pre-drill holes, and fasten closet shelves to the wall.
• Pull Bath hardware – towel bars, towel rings, and toilet paper holders for individual houses.
• Pull Door Hardware for individual houses.
• Load/unload materials – check off receiver/manifest and product.
• Communicate directly to the supervisor.

Physical Demands

This role requires regular physical activity, including lifting and carrying materials over 50 pounds, standing and walking for extended periods, and using hand and power tools for installation tasks. The position also involves frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbing ladders or step stools. Candidates must have good manual dexterity, vision, and hearing to safely perform duties, which may take place in both indoor and outdoor environments, including active construction sites or dusty areas.
