Job summary

Kubota is seeking an Equipment Operator to support shipping, receiving and storage at our California warehouses. The role involves operating stand up/sit down forklifts, stock chasers and cherry pickers to move goods, load trailers and maintain inventory flow on busy shifts.

Applicants should be able to read English, follow safety procedures, and perform daily equipment checks. This on-site position requires flexibility to work days, nights or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Willingness to work any shifts (days, nights and/or weekends).
• Certified to operate forklifts, stock chaser and/or cherry pickers per OSHA standards.
• Knowledge, skill and ability to safely manage loads of heavy equipment, tires and/or pallets of parts.
• Ability to use computer systems and/or RF scanner to input and retrieve information.
• Basic math and computer skills required.
• High degree of attention to prevent injury and promote safety.
• Follow and adhere to all policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Obtains orders and transports material or equipment to and from designated areas within the facility.
• Moves goods packed on pallets or in crates.
• Loads and unloads Kubota parts and equipment onto or into trailer or utility trailers; may require operating equipment including tractors, excavators and/or RTVs.
• Stacks goods in correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions.
• Checks to ensure trucks are properly loaded and materials and equipment are secure.
• Performs daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery.
• Maintains housekeeping expectations for all equipment utilized and throughout shift.
• Examines products to verify compliance to quality standards.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
