Job summary

Kubota Corporation in the United States is seeking an Equipment Operator to assist with shipping, receiving and put-away activities in our warehouse facilities. The role focuses on operating forklifts, reach trucks and order pickers for the majority of the workday.

The candidate will load/unload materials, ensure proper storage, perform routine equipment checks and help maintain a safe work environment in a fast-paced setting. Excellent English reading and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Willingness to work any shifts (days or nights, weekends).
• Certified to operate a forklift, reach truck, order picker as required according to OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Obtains copy of shipping orders/put away orders and transports material or equipment within the facility.
• Moves goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility.
• Loads and unloads parts and equipment, using tractors, excavators, RTVs, etc., as required.
• Stacks goods in correct storage bays following inventory control instructions.
• Checks that trucks are properly loaded and materials/equipment are secure.
• Performs daily equipment checks such as recharging batteries and lubricating equipment.
