Job summary

SanMar is seeking an Equipment Operator to locate and move product with RF scanning and to load/unload trucks while building pallets for transport to various departments. The role includes restocking and picking customer orders, inspecting equipment daily, and adhering to safety guidelines.

Certification must be maintained every three years as required. Candidates should have a high school diploma and 1–3 years of lift operator experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of lift operator experience
• Ability to read, write and identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information
• Basic math skills in counting and quantity
• Demonstrates ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Operate powered lift equipment to move product and materials using RF scanning
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product
• Restock, pick, and pack product for customer orders
• Inspect assigned equipment daily and ensure proper checkout/return
• Follow safety procedures and use equipment keys
• Complete and maintain Lift Operator Certification every three years
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Comply with all policies and standards
