Job description

To thrive as a Warehouse Equipment Operator, you'll need a sharp eye for detail and a strong commitment to safety. In this role, you will take charge of operating forklifts and reach trucks to efficiently load and unload products from inbound and outbound trailers. You'll also manage inventory by stocking, rotating, and ensuring everything is in its proper place, as accuracy matters!

Each day brings variety as you maintain and operate equipment such as forklifts with slip-sheet attachments, reach trucks (up to 35 feet), and rider jacks. You'll handle loading and unloading at the dock, down-stocking, re-stocking, and rotating dated products. Using scanner guns or wands, you'll inspect shipments for errors or defects and document any discrepancies. In addition, you'll perform routine quality checks to identify and report damages, shortages, or errors, helping keep operations running smoothly.

Here’s what we’re looking for from you:
  • A dedication to safety. We are very proud of our safety record and want you to partake in that. You will be required to wear proper safety equipment, including steel-toed shoes and safety glasses, at all times.
  • Complete safety training before operating warehouse equipment; full participation is essential to succeed in this role.
  • Attention to detail. You must pay close attention to stock numbers, find defects in inventory, and be careful of your surroundings to accurately move product.
  • A completed High school education is required.
  • Knowledge of basic math is also required.
  • While previous forklift experience is preferred, we welcome candidates without prior experience who are willing and able to complete training and obtain forklift certification.
  • Responsibilities involve lifting products up to 75 lbs, several times throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation.
Here is What We Offer You:
  • Warehouse Equipment Operator starts at $21.50/hr. Team members will receive a $0.50/hr increase at 6 months of employment and another $0.50/hr increase at one year of employment.
  • Any shift that starts from 12 PM or later (off-shifts) also receives a $3/hr shift differential.
  • Quarterly and holiday bonuses are available.
Other Perks and Benefits:
  • Accrue 15 paid days of vacation time off the first year plus 5 days of sick time off.
