Job summary

US Foods, Inc. is hiring for a maintenance role to upkeep pallet jacks, forklifts and related equipment. The position runs Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM with a starting pay of $25.00 per hour and benefits effective on day one.

Responsibilities include repairing and maintaining warehouse machinery, reviewing repair logs, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring safety compliance across all equipment.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Mechanic training or trade school degree preferred.
• Six months of mechanic experience required.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain warehouse equipment to ensure availability for day and night operations.
• Review equipment reports, log actions and repairs per policy.
• Perform preventative maintenance and maintain PM logs.
• Follow safety guidelines (Lock Out/Tag Out, placarding, documentation).
• Maintain battery-charging area and batteries.
• Manage tools and maintenance equipment, inventory, storage and security.
• May purchase tools locally as authorized.
• Perform light maintenance (bulbs, painting, racks, light plumbing, repairs).
