Job summary

US Foods, Inc. is seeking a technician to upkeep and repair warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and batteries. You will review reports, log actions, and perform preventive maintenance to keep day and night operations running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and some mechanic training. The role requires basic math, reading and writing skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Additional mechanic training or trade school degree preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals and repair logs.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain warehouse equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Review equipment reports, log actions and keep repair logs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and ensure safe working conditions.
• Operate and secure battery charging area and tools.
