What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of products. This includes receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, and delivery. The team ensures the efficient flow of products from vendor receipt to shipment, meeting prescribed service parameters for internal and external customers.

Accountabilities

  1. Receive, pick, pack, ship, stage, transport, store, and deliver products.
  2. Ensure the efficient flow of products from receipt to shipment.

Qualifications

  1. High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience preferred.
  2. 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred.
  4. Availability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays is required.
  5. Active Puerto Rico Driver License required.
  6. Ability to lift 30 pounds or more as necessary.
  7. Adherence to safety regulations, including wearing personal protective equipment such as steel-toed shoes and safety harnesses, and compliance with Cardinal Health’s EHS and QRA policies.
  8. Schedule: 3rd shift - 6:30 pm to 3:00 am (Sunday & Friday) | 7:30 pm to 4:00 am

  1. Apply acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks.
  2. Learn and apply new information and methods in assigned areas.
  3. Maintain necessary licenses, training, and certifications.
  4. Work on routine assignments with some problem resolution.
  5. Follow standard operating procedures and quality guidelines.
  6. Work under moderate supervision, with regular review of output.
  7. Refer complex or unusual problems to supervisors.
