National Oak Distributors is seeking a Warehouse Delivery Driver for our Sacramento warehouse. This person will drive a 26-ft. box truck over an established route to deliver products or render services and collect payment from customers. This position requires a CDL Class A or B license with Hazmat endorsement. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any issues with the vehicle if unsafe to drive.
  • Keep trucks clean, report any malfunctions to the warehouse manager, and note needed repairs in the logbook. Report delays in repairs to the supervisor.
  • Verify piece counts, weights, invoices, and numbers on Bill of Lading.
  • Drive truck to deliver products to customer’s location.
  • Collect payment from customers and obtain signatures on receipts.
  • Escalate customer service complaints to supervisor.
  • Load truck if instructed by supervisor.
  • Ensure all hazardous materials are logged and packaged correctly.
  • Follow company policies and Department of Transportation regulations at all times.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED; or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid Driver's License (Class A or B) with HAZMAT Endorsement required. Must meet all Department of Transportation, Federal/State requirements.
