Job Description:
The Warehouse Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods and
materials to and from our distribution center. May include, but not limited to, all retail
locations, customer’s residence for home deliveries and select contractors/vendors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet
business needs.
• Assist with moving heavy pallets throughout the warehouse, extracting product from pallet
racking to load into assigned company vehicles (commercial trucks) for transport.
• Load and unload company assigned vehicles (commercial trucks) safely, accurately, and
efficiently. Inspect and report any damages immediately.
• Plan routes with assistance of Management Team to meet delivery deadlines while optimizing
fuel efficiency and minimizing downtime, while not deviating from predetermined routes to
ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, including but not limited to, driver daily logs, daily trip
report, vehicle inspection report, delivery receipts and any paperwork associated with customer
home delivery (i.e. signatures/delivery confirmations)
• Team player assisting personnel loading and unloading to ensure cargo is properly secured to
prevent damage during transit.
• Operate equipment such as lift gates (if applicable), pallet jacks, hand trucks, ladders to facilitate
the loading and unloading process.
• Develop and maintain a professional and courteous relationship with internal and external
customers (i.e. co-workers, retail customers, contractors and vendors), while providing
exceptional customer service to any inquiries or concerns.
• Practice and promote company safety policies and procedures.
• Stay in compliance with all applicable traffic and safety laws/rules while driving in accordance
with the weather/road conditions, including reporting any incidents or injuries immediately.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections (mechanical and safety) on assigned company vehicles
(commercial truck) completing all assigned company documents.
• Maintain a clean and organized company assigned vehicle (commercial truck) both inside and
out.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to, assisting with other warehouse
operations based on business needs.

Job Requirements:
• High school diploma/equivalent with minimum of three (3) years related experience in driving
large commercial vehicles.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with the appropriate class and endorsements (i.e.
Class B).
• Must be professional, punctual, courteous, and possess exceptional customer service skills at all
times while interacting with internal and external customers (i.e. co-workers, retail customers,
contractors and vendors).
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
environment.
• Must maintain the ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization developing
into a trusted resource within the organization.
• Self-motivated, safety minded, resourceful, with the ability to work independently and with a
team.
• Must be able to work in all seasonal conditions (i.e. rain/snow and heat/cold).
• Accurately fill out basic DOT and vehicle documentation (i.e. vehicle inspection report, driver
daily logs and daily trip report).
• Valid and MVR acceptable driver’s license, including insurable, with the ability to drive to all
Stein locations with a flexible schedule to meet the demands.
• Must be forklift certified within three (3) months of employment.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is frequently required to stand and sit; use hands to
finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; walk and talk or hear. The associate is occasionally
required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or
move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Heavier items will be moved
with the assistance of fork lifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. The employee will work in the warehouse
environment, truck environment, and in the outdoors at all times of the year.
