Job summary

Wastebuilt in Jurupa Valley, CA is seeking a Driver to receive, organize and ship merchandise. The role involves delivering incoming shipments, packaging products for shipping, maintaining tidy work areas, and assisting in warehouse tasks including production of hoses and fittings.

Candidates should have a valid driver's license, forklift experience is a plus, and comfortable handling 50 lb lifts. This is an on-site role with comprehensive benefits and local residency preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in warehouse, shipping, receiving, material handling is ideal.
• Production/mechanical experience or aptitude is ideal.
• Must have a valid driver license and clean driving record
• Forklift experience a plus
• Computer literate, with data entry and part look-up skills
• Strong analytical, problem solving and corrective action skills.
• Possess a strong sense of urgency and attention to accuracy and detail.

Responsibilities

• Experience picking orders in quantities that can vary greatly
• Dependable, fast, and efficient while maintaining quality work ethic
• Detailed-oriented and highly accurate
• Inventory, productivity and process awareness
• Excellent communication skills with customers and team
• Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment
• Support sales by processing parts orders for shipment
• Responsible for sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves , or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product
• Shipping and receiving experience/Put parts away
• Able to lift, stoop and bend without restriction repeatedly over the course of a shift
• Occasional lifting of 50 lbs.
• Consistent walking and climbing
• Maintain work truck, warehouse and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
