Job summary

Sidney Electric, an EMCOR Company, is seeking a Warehouse Driver/Worker in Lima, OH. The role combines warehouse duties with driving responsibilities, requiring reliable transportation to the Lima facility and a CDL-eligible license for heavier vehicles. You will load, transport, and manage materials, while upholding safety and company procedures.

Hours are 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with potential overtime. A background check and drug screening are required, and forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing is preferred.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work with others.
• Background and drug screening required.
• Ability to drive box vans and stake body trucks.
• A clean driving record meeting company criteria.
• Forklift experience preferred; re-certification available if hired.
• Physical ability to regularly lift or move objects up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation to the warehouse facility (company vehicles not to be taken home).
• Willingness to obtain a CDL for vehicles over 26,000 lbs.
• DOT driver program participation is required.
• Basic computer skills are helpful.
• Shift is 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pack and load materials and equipment onto trucks for delivery.
• Receive incoming materials from haulers and company vehicles.
• Follow documentation and procedures for warehouse functions.
• Move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other handling equipment.
• Assist in unloading and loading trucks and other vehicles.
• Return stock materials from job sites as required.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized, store items properly.
• Organize tools and equipment for easy access.
• Maintain inventory of materials, tools, and supplies.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
