Job summary

Batchelor & Kimball, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented warehouse associate to support shipping, receiving, and dock responsibilities.

You will move materials with a forklift, operate an overhead crane, and ensure accurate and timely transport of products to work sites or storage areas. Ideal candidates have warehouse experience, know how to check shipments against packing slips, and can communicate effectively with the warehouse team and other departments.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse environment with shipping/receiving.
• Ability to drive a sit-down forklift.
• Strong communication with warehouse and other departments.

Responsibilities

• Operate overhead crane to move materials and load/unload trucks
• Tag pallets on the dock for shipment
• Organize and load truck shipments safely and efficiently
• Operate forklift and pallet jack
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Verify shipments against emails/packing slips
• Communicate shipping changes to relevant teams
• Provide high level customer service to all departments
• Cross-train in warehouse areas
