Job summary

Batchelor & Kimball in Apex, NC is seeking a warehouse driver to transfer products within the facility and to work sites using box trucks, stake beds, or sprinter vans. You will operate forklifts, load and unload shipments, and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely deliveries.

The ideal candidate has warehouse experience, pallet and crane operation knowledge, and a commitment to accuracy and safety. This is an on-site, full-time role with strong priorities on customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be able to manage and prioritize shipping, receiving, and dock responsibilities.
• Must accurately check shipments going out.
• Must have a sense of urgency throughout the day.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with the warehouse team and other department

Responsibilities

• Operate overhead crane to move materials and load/unload trucks
• Tag all pallets if they are on the dock for shipment
• Organize,Load/move truck shipments in a safe and efficient manner, including confined spaces
• Operate pallet jack or forklift in a safe, and efficient manner
• Maintain work area in a clean organized, and safe manner
• Accurately check all shipments against e-mails and/or packing slips
• Check schedule regularly for changes to shipping, order pulling, or order changes
• Follow all safety rules and operational procedures that are in place in the warehouse
• Maintain a very high standard of great customer service to all departments
• Crosstrain in all areas of the warehouse
