Job summary

Heritage Landscape Supply Group in Salt Lake City is seeking a Full Time Warehouse Associate/Backup Driver. The role involves accurately stocking and organizing warehouse inventory, fulfilling customer orders, and supporting daily shipping and receiving of orders.

Backup non-CDL driving duties are included. Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, assisting customers, counting inventory, and maintaining a safe, clean workspace.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds throughout the workday.
• Have valid drivers license and ability to obtain DOT medical card.
• High school diploma or combination of work experience and education.
• Experience in a distribution, fulfillment, or warehouse environment
• Forklift Certification preferred (training and certification can be obtained after hire through company training)
• Capability to pass a pre-employment drug test, driving and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Stock and organize products safely and accurately.
• Assist customers on phone and in person which often involves order entry
• Pull and prepare customer orders for pick-up, UPS shipment or delivery.
• Load and unload the delivery trucks.
• Count and verify incoming and outgoing inventory.
• Rotate stock and report any damaged or missing items.
• Assist with cycle counts and other forms of physical inventory verification as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow company safety guidelines and procedures.
• Backup driver for non-regulated vehicle
• Ability to lift-handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds continuously through workday.
• Ability to stay in motion much of the workday often in areas that are not climate controlled
• Ability to move heavy products in busy warehouses and/or outdoor yards, using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks, and involves active physical work.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required.
