Job summary

Tireco, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse/Driver to support warehouse tasks and deliver tires and wheels in Fontana, CA. This role primarily works in the warehouse (about 90%) with occasional local deliveries using a company vehicle.

Responsibilities include picking orders, loading/unloading, shipping/receiving, operating a forklift, and providing friendly customer service while handling payments and returns. A valid license and DOT compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license; Class D may be required in some states – CDL not required.
• DOT compliance: pass drug test and DOT physical; 21+ years; willing to cross state lines for deliveries.

Salary Range: $18.50 - $18.50 Hourly

As a Warehouse/Driver for Tireco Distributors (TD), you will be the face of our company and on the front lines delivering the essential products that keep our country rolling. You will be responsible for warehouse duties such as picking orders, loading and unloading trucks, shipping and receiving, and operating equipment such as a forklift. Although you will be in the warehouse 90% of the time, you will also assist in safely delivering tires and wheels using a company vehicle while providing friendly and professional customer service, loading and unloading product, collecting payments, managing product returns, and maintaining your assigned vehicle.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Possess a valid standard regular driver’s license, some states may require a Class D license – No CDL required
• Meet requirements for DOT compliance; pass drug test and DOT physical, be at least 21 years, eligible and willing to cross state lines for deliveries as required
• Ability to be insured under company driving policy.
• Ability to safely operate a company vehicle and a forklift.
• Ability to manually move tires between 30 – 80 lbs daily. 80lbs+ requires a team lift.
