Job summary

Tireco Distributors in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Warehouse/Driver to join our team. You will perform warehouse duties, pick orders, load and unload trucks, and assist with tire deliveries using a company vehicle.

The role is primarily warehouse-based (about 90%), with occasional driving responsibilities. You will also handle payments, returns, and vehicle maintenance while delivering friendly, professional customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license (Class D where applicable); no CDL required.
• DOT compliance requirements; pass drug test and DOT physical.
• Ability to operate a forklift and a company vehicle safely.
• Ability to lift tires manually 30–80 lbs daily; team lift for 80 lbs+.
• Able to cross state lines for deliveries as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse duties including picking orders, loading/unloading trucks, shipping and receiving.
• Operate forklift and move tires within the warehouse.
• Assist in tire/wheel deliveries using a company vehicle when required.
• Handle customer payments and returns, maintain vehicle cleanliness and readiness.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service at all times.

Salary Range: $17.50 - $21.00 Hourly

JOB TITLE: Warehouse/Driver

As a Warehouse/Driver for Tireco Distributors (TD), you will be the face of our company and on the front lines delivering the essential products that keep our country rolling. You will be responsible for warehouse duties such as picking orders, loading and unloading trucks, shipping and receiving, and operating equipment such as a forklift. Although you will be in the warehouse 90% of the time, you will also assist in safely delivering tires and wheels using a company vehicle while providing friendly and professional customer service, loading and unloading product, collecting payments, managing product returns, and maintaining your assigned vehicle.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Possess a valid standard regular driver’s license, some states may require a Class D license – No CDL required
• Meet requirements for DOT compliance; pass drug test and DOT physical, be at least 21 years, eligible and willing to cross state lines for deliveries as required
• Ability to be insured under company driving policy.
• Ability to safely operate a company vehicle and a forklift.
• Ability to manually move tires between 30 – 80 lbs daily. 80lbs+ requires a team lift.
