Job summary

R.E. Michel Company is seeking a Warehouse/Driver in Plattsburgh, NY to safely operate a variety of materials handling equipment and deliver to customer locations.

You will support branch operations and provide excellent service in the HVACR distribution environment. This full-time, non-exempt role requires a valid driver’s license, a clean 5-year driving record, and ability to pass a DOT physical; forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in map reading for efficient delivery routes.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate material handling equipment and vehicles to fulfill orders and make deliveries to customer locations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly and accurately servicing customer needs.
• Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to DOT regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient branch operations.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and satisfactory 5-year driving record.
• Ability to pass required DOT physical and operate a forklift (must be at least 18 years old).
• Proficiency in map reading and directions for efficient delivery routes.
• Flexibility to work Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays.
