Job summary

Solotech, a global leader in live productions, is hiring a Warehouse Driver/Technician in Tennessee. You will pull, prepare, and process equipment orders, load vehicles, and perform local pickups and deliveries while maintaining equipment quality and safety.

The role requires experience in warehouse settings, knowledge of inventory systems (R2 preferred) and MS Office, and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including overnights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Degree in audiovisual technology or related field is considered an asset.
• Experience with live entertainment equipment or live production preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in a warehouse environment.
• Minimum 2 years operating commercial vehicles (Sprinter vans to 26-ft trucks).
• Knowledge of R2 inventory software is an asset.

The Warehouse Driver/Technician is responsible for pulling, preparing, and processing equipment orders, maintaining equipment quality, and completing local equipment pickups and deliveries. This role also involves safely loading and securing equipment in company vehicles and requires a flexible schedule that may include overnight and weekend deliveries.

Your day will look like this:

• Determine daily priorities based on established timelines
• Coordinate order preparation priorities with the supervisor
• Prepare, scan, and process complex orders for transport
• Customize equipment according to customer requirements and order specifications when needed
• Complete equipment lists in the R2 inventory system
• Confirm that orders are complete and include all required accessories
• Perform general equipment upkeep and maintenance
• Follow company and industry quality standards for equipment preparation
• Load and securely fasten equipment in various Solotech vehicles
• Safely operate Solotech vehicles to complete local equipment pickups and deliveries
• Perform other duties related to the position as assigned

Your profile:

• Degree in audiovisual technology or another relevant field considered an asset
• Experience working for a live entertainment equipment company or in live entertainment production
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a warehouse environment
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience operating commercial vehicles, ranging from Sprinter vans to 26-foot box trucks
• Knowledge of inventory software, particularly R2, considered an asset
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Knowledge of road and transportation laws and regulations applicable to commercial vehicles
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate information clearly and logically
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently without direct supervision when required
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Forklift experience considered an asset
• Ability to obtain a Tennessee driver health card required for operating commercial vehicles
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some nights and weekends
